01 · Challenge
The reference design heated fast but drifted once the battery dropped below half charge, so the curl quality fell off between charges. Users noticed.
02 · Solution
We reworked the thermal control loop and moved the sensor closer to the heating element, then validated the temperature curve across the full battery range rather than at nominal voltage.
03 · Result
Temperature stayed within the agreed band from full charge to cut-off. The client's differentiation claim became something they could demonstrate.
