Hong Kong Electronics Show, October 2023
Our booth at the Hong Kong Electronics Show in October 2023: five product families, the certification panel, and what buyers asked about first.

In October 2023 we took a booth at the Hong Kong Electronics Show — the first of the shows recorded in this news section. Hong Kong is a sourcing show rather than a beauty show: the people walking past are looking for a manufacturer who can take an order and ship it, not for a brand story.
What was on the booth
The booth was laid out as a catalogue, one panel per family:
- Ice pack firming instrument — the cooling side of facial care
- Diamond eyelash curler — heated curling tools
- Instant fog high-transparency light machine — the handheld misting category
- Light green microporous absorber analyzer — skin analysis combined with delivery
- Wireless curling iron — hair tools
The panels carried the specifications and a qualification wall sat at the end of the booth: the certificates the models were shipped with, rather than a logo slide.

What buyers asked
At a sourcing show the questions arrive in a different order than at a beauty show. Not what does it do, but:
- Which parts are made in your own plant?
- What certification does this specific model carry — and for which markets?
- What is the minimum quantity if we change the housing colour?
Those are the questions the factory page and the certification page exist to answer, and they are answerable by email if you were not at the show.
What changed afterwards
The 2023 booth described finished products. The booths we run now describe platforms — which parts of a device can be changed, what the tooling costs, and what certification the target market requires. The product range still lists the finished models; the OEM & ODM pages are where those conversations start today.
