OEM Manufacturing

You bring the design, the drawings or a working sample. We build the tooling, run pilot production, handle certification testing and ship serial production.

MOQ 500 pcs · Sample lead time 3–7 days · Lead time 25–35 days

OEM is the shortest route when the design already exists. You have the drawings, or a sample that works, and the question is whether it can be built at the target cost with a consistent quality level. The answer depends less on the assembly line than on the tooling and the incoming inspection behind it.

The work happens before steel

A drawing that looks complete on paper usually has three or four decisions left open: draft on a deep wall, a gate position that will leave a visible mark, a tolerance stack that closes only if two parts are at opposite ends of their range. We run a DFM review and return a written list — what we would change, what it costs if we do not, and which items are the buyer’s call.

That review is the cheapest part of the project and the one most often skipped when a supplier quotes from a photo.

Pilot run, not a sample batch

A pilot run uses the production fixtures, the production test limits and the production operators. A hand-built sample batch proves the design can be assembled by an engineer; a pilot run proves it can be assembled by a line. The difference shows up in yield, and in how long the first shipment takes.

What we ask for at the start

Drawings or a sample, the target market and its certification requirements, the target quantity and FOB price, and the timeline you are working to. With those four answers we can say whether the project is realistic before either side spends money on tooling.

At a glance

What you provide
3D and 2D drawings, a working sample, or a reference product with a target specification
What we provide
DFM feedback, tooling, pilot run, certification testing and serial production
MOQ
500 pcs for a standard platform; the tooling amortisation decides the number for a new mold
Lead time
7 days for samples, 25–35 days for production after sample approval
Ownership
Tooling ownership written into the contract; the drawing and the mold are not used as leverage
Scope

What is included

01 DFM review of your drawings before steel is cut, with the changes we would make and why
02 Mold design, manufacture, T1 and T2 trials, with measured reports rather than photographs
03 Pilot production run with the production fixtures, not a hand-built sample batch
04 Certification testing at a third-party laboratory — CE-EMC, FCC, RoHS, PSE or KC
05 Serial production with in-line functional test and ageing before packing
06 map[Packaging:retail box, insert and artwork, printed and packed in-house]
Process

How a project runs

  1. 01 Drawing review and DFM report
  2. 02 Quotation with tooling and unit cost separated
  3. 03 Tool making and T1 measurement
  4. 04 Sample approval and pilot run
  5. 05 Certification and serial production

FAQ

Common questions

Can you build from a sample without drawings?

We can reverse-engineer a sample, but the result depends on how accurately it can be measured. Where the sample is critical, we prefer to model it, print it, and check the fit against your original before committing to steel.

Who owns the mold?

The buyer does, once the tooling is paid for. The terms of transfer are written into the contract, so moving the tool to another factory is a decision you can make.

What happens if T1 parts are out of tolerance?

We report the deviation against the drawing and correct the tool. Production is not released on a tool that has not yet met the drawing.
